This element is actually hard for people to understand. And I know precisely how they think! When I was told this, I rejected it. Why would I wish to do this to myself? It didn't make sense.

But finally no matter how much I tried to ignore that truth, it was accurate, my thoughts where the base of my anxiety. I experimented with it. The more I focused my energy on the anxiety the more powerful my anxiety attack became. So with the aid of a therapist, I was able to work on my feelings and defeat my anxiety.

It could be a lie to say I am anxiety free, but I'm much more able to cope with anxiety, I have more coping approaches. Dealing with anxiety is now much easier for me.
